1. Common materials:

Similar to ordinary self-standing bags, they mostly use multi-layer composite films to meet various requirements.

• Outer layer: PET / BOPP (providing printing adhesion and wear resistance).

• Middle layer: AL (aluminum foil, high barrier) / VMPET (coated aluminum, good barrier) / NY (nylon, toughening).

• Inner layer: PE / CPP (providing heat sealing performance).

2. Manufacturing Techniques:

• Mainly use intaglio printing to achieve vivid colors and exquisite patterns on high-grade materials.

• Its production process is much more complicated than that of ordinary self-standing bags. It requires a special octagonal sealing bag-making machine, which forms the product in one step through precise heat sealing control. Therefore, the production cost is also higher.

Challenge:

• High cost: The complex bag-making process and higher material wastage result in its cost being much higher than that of ordinary self-standing bags.

• Slow production speed: The bag-making process is more complex, leading to relatively lower production efficiency.

• Environmental considerations: It also faces the problem of difficult recycling of multi-layer composite materials.
