The performance of the NY co-extruded film is the "sum total" of the performance of each of its constituent materials.
1. Outstanding mechanical properties
Extremely high puncture resistance and impact resistance: This is the core contribution of the nylon layer, enabling the packaging to withstand impacts from sharp objects (such as bones, nuts, and parts), significantly reducing the bag breakage rate, especially suitable for heavy-duty packaging.
2. Excellent barrier properties
Good oxygen barrier: The nylon layer can effectively block oxygen, preventing the oxidation and deterioration of contents (especially oily foods), extending the shelf life. Although the oxygen barrier is not as good as EVOH, it can already meet the needs of most vacuum packaging and conventional modified atmosphere packaging.
Excellent water vapor barrier: The polyethylene layer provides excellent moisture-proofing functionality.
3. Wide temperature resistance
Has good high-temperature and low-temperature resistance, capable of withstanding high-temperature cooking (such as for steaming bags), and remaining flexible and not cracking in a frozen environment.
4. Good heat sealing performance and flexibility
The polyethylene layer ensures that the film has excellent heat sealing performance, with a secure and reliable seal.
The entire film has good flexibility and anti-wrinkle ability, fitting the contents well.
